The judge who scored it 116-112 even gave the last to Marquez whilst the other two gave it to Pac.

Was he making sure his card wouldn't be too wide? :think

 

How most of the judges gave Pac all of the first three rounds is beyond me.

 

I had Marquez 2-1 up, you could even make a case for him being 3 up.

2nd was clear Marquez, think the 3rd one as well :-(

Marquez should be another Mexican 4 weight world champion, he could of moved to 140 and fought Morales and maybe become a 5 weight world champ.

Hope he tells Arum and Pacquiao to **** off if they ask for a re-match

 

Yeah its times like this i hate being a boxing fan. The only justification i can give for some of the scores being given out in favour of pac is the rose-tinted glasses some people wear when looking at him. Put two fringe world level fighters in the ring that's no-one's heard of in the ring and have them fight the same fight and the guy fighting like Marquez would win a clear decision.

He was pretty humble about it all. What can he say though? Everyone in that room knows who the real winner is.

It's a ****ing joke... in a fight of that magnitude the three judges scores shouldn't show that much disparity - never mind the fact that they were all wrong. Something needs changing.

 

I had it 115-113 to Márquez. 116-112 the other way is a joke.

 

Harold Lederman was giving Pacquiao rounds because he said that he was the effective aggressor. Does he not understand what effective means? Pac was certainly the aggressor a lot of the time but Marquez's attacks were more effective.

 

Yep, he's a great guy. It's infuriating these judges dont seem to consider they are ****ing with someones life and career when doing stuff like this. He's missed out on some more millions and another notch on his great career just because 2 of them had decided who'd won before the fight had even started.

 

I don't think I've ever been as sure about my scoring. I was rooting for Pac pre-fight as well! I don't know what Manny did to score him that many rounds. He potshotted mainly and didn't land alot!
