The ring walk with Simply the Best, turning around towards the crowd on the outside of the ring apron, the jump over the roads and the posturing brought back memories.

However should he have his own imagine or replicate his dad?

I would prefer a bit of half and half. E.g. The entrance music could be Tina Turner - 'We do not need another hero'

Think its great he is replicating his dad.

His dad was his idol so no harm in replicating your hero...he looks a right moody **** tho

Just watching it now. All seems a bit cringeworthy to me. I think they should let him be his own man but I guess it'll help him get more chances.

  4. A bit cringeworthy? That was embarrassing. Man can't even have his own personality. The entrance was bad enough, but the mannerisms too? For crying out loud...

I thought it was brilliant, I was grinning like a Cheshire cat when that music started.

Took me back but really Chris Jr needs to build his own personality and not try and imitate his father, both inside and outside the ropes.

    Relevant to the thread? No.

Hilarious and therefore worth watching? Oh yes.

    I love that clip

Fair play to Paul Dempsey he handled that great. Dempsey is still far and away the best boxing presenter we've had in recent times.

Put me down in the cringeworthy/embarrassing camp. Esp. doing his Dads "high stepping" move during the fight.

Imagine this clip occuring on Boxnation?

Richard Keys would have discussed the point

Some of you need to liven up.

Me and mate were creased and thought it was brilliant. I'm sure he will have his own identity inside the ring as his career progresses. If he wants to use the music and jump over the top rope because he idolises his dad then good luck to him.

And his dad giving him tactics mid fight, let the coach coach him! Especially when you're on mike telling the opponent your new tactics!
