    8 rounds?

    the jmm clear rounds that i can remember are 5 and 7. other rounds are close that judges could have give it either way. you cannot actually score rounds for jmm just because he was not dominated. judges do have criterias in judging.

    most rounds are close. would you actually say in a straight face that jmm clearly won the first 4 rounds and rounds 9-12?

    There absolutely should be a 4th fight. Just because there were 3 close fights does not mean the 4th can't produce a clear winner. If Pac changes his strategy and fights with more disciplined aggression he will win decisively.

    Everyone should want a 4th fight.

    A 4th fight does next to nothing for Marquez. If it's strictly for resume purposes to get a win over Pacquiao on there with a W next to it, a 4th attempt doesn't exactly look great anyway. Plus the fact he could end up 0-3-1 would look like a complete domination especially if Pac wins more convincingly.

    Marquez can be proud of his performances against Pac and the fact that 90% of people had him winning the 3rd. Nobody carrying the news that Pac won can say it without the attached controversy and it will go down in the books like that so it's a moral victory for Marquez anyway.

    Been a pretty shitty year for boxing though, especially the big fights given the controversy in B-Hop, Floyd's and this.
