I had the British Commentary which both commentators were raving on about how much in front MArquez was and how manny was struggling. One of those commentators was......................................Amir Kahn!!! Kahn was constantly raving on about how it just wasnt pacmans night and hats off to Marquez for the upset win. Then after the decision there was just this awkward, broken type commentary where both guys tried to dance around the fact that the result was completely wrong. They new it, everyone watching new it, when it went back to the British TV guys back home talking about the fight they all raved about how much of a disgrace the result was as well.

They reminded me of the west media coverage of the Arab Libyan spring. Complete lies and bias

It was pretty disgusting. Between Lampley attributing "ghost" punches to Pacquiao, Emmanuel Steward talking of Pacquiao's super strength while he was getting punched in the face, Harold Lederman clearly not knowing the meaning of "effective agression", and HBO trying to make it seem like Marquez was pulling a DLH and running for the last three rounds, it was one of the worst displays I've seen. But honestly, I knew Marquez couldn't win a decision. There is far too much money at stake for the Mayweather fight.

I dont post too often but just have to say i was shocked at the HBO commentary last night, im from the uk and always prefer the hbo team's commentary rather than the uk ones. But the bias was sickening, Marquez countered the **** out of manny and Lederman kept trying to con everyone by going on about he's giving the round to manny because hes the aggressor!

Obvious that there was too much money involved to let jmm win, the only good thiing is that pac-may will happen in may, no doubt.

Even when Marquez dropped off in the last few rounds, Pacman was landing practicaly nothing, and being punished for it by super slick counter punching. When they were showing the highlights from the fight it was just all the times marquez landed big clean shots on pacman.

The Primetime coverage got straight to the point Steve Collins and Steve Bunce both had Marquez winning by a good 6 rounds or so.

Amir and Benny had Marquez winning then when the decision came in they were all like "oh...okay"

how did HBO score the fight.

and what did kellerman ask pacquiao after the fight.

my scorecard was 117-111 marquez, biggest robbery in boxing for a major fight for the last 20 years.

The british commentators had JMM winning the entire fight and ahead at the end

Steward and Lederman bordered on the shameful last night, I think round three just summed up the whole farce. Lampley didn't even call some of JMM's shots, it was just old fashioned champion-challenger scoring plain and simple.

What upsets me is you have a guy and legend like Steward who knows whats going on and sometimes seems to hold back to say how he truly feels and just agrees. He smiles and tries to be proffesional, but come on we all know what happend last night. I feel you need at least one fighter as a commentator for each fight that truly knows and is not afraid to speak up.
