I think Khan has the size and style to beat JMM, thoughts....

I feel sorry for him last night I thought JMM won by at least 2 or 3 rounds, this would give him a shot at 2 more world titles above 135.

Khan definitely has the height, range and speed to beat Marquez. Whether he has the skills, defence or punch resistance though is doubtful.

Why would he beat JMM tho? If marquez can measure the distance agianst someone like Pac who is as quick and has better punching form and footwork than Khan why will he not do the same to Khan.

Also IMO Marquez would hurt Khan and we know how good a finisher he is it wouldnt be like Maidana letting him off the hook.

JMM looked good at 144 last night, fighting Khan at 140 would be even better for JMM.

Khan would get starched, he brings nothing to the table against Marquez.

Khan would start off as favourite, styles definitely make fights, If he stayed behind the Jab and the long right, I think he could do what he did to Barrera.

Once JMM adapts to the speed he'd start to time Khan and beat him. Probably get robbed on scorecards though...

Yeah he did well against Barrera but it was a bad clash of heads which caused the cut, plus Barrera was well past his best.

No way would i pick Khan to beat JMM and i like Khan he just makes too many mistakes his speed and heart alone will only get him so far.

That's the other side of the coin, come to think of it, Khan hasnt ever shown adaptabilitiy in a fight, except maybe for a couple of rounds against Maidana before the haymaker landed in the 10th.

He'll take the first 4-5, but Marquez always comes on strong after that, and once he starts tagging Khan, I'm yet to see anything Khan has ever done, aside from running while not throwing, that could counteract this.

Good post mate :good. Juan would probably fight in a similar fashion to last night and Amir would have to find a lot of answers. Against Judah he boxed nicely to a plan but at same time JMM is a better boxer/fighter and isn't relying on one punch. He has tools to create so many problems for Khan.

How would Khan deal with falling short and evading the brilliant counters? that's one question of many. He doesn't have a natural defence when throwing he's just a bit to stiff on upperbody.

Problem with Manny he was finding it hard to get into range to get off, plus Manny throws too many hooks which can only land when your up close.

Khan uses his range better also has the advantage over JMM in size and would pepper JMM with his long straight fast jab all night and work everything off that.

Manny could not use his handspeed last night, Khan would.
