The 'NEW' Marquez would beat floyd.

Not a chance, it would be an extremely boring fight but Floyd will outsmart Marquez and get another UD.

Floyd is more skilled and less wild than Manny so Marquez would have to fight a completely different fight.

 

I don't think the fight was boring. Marquez was older, slower, physically bigger and had decent footwork and still gave Manny loads of problems. To knock Manny for his wins with Hatton, Cotto, Clottey etc is unfair and wrong, but to say that he would give someone like Floyd super problems and would KO him in 3 rounds when he couldn't finish a fighter he was supposed to be better than is a joke. It proved why Manny is overhyped, not overrated

Theres very little " new and improved" about Marquez from the Floyd fight. Hes still the same size,with the same skills. He is however 2 years older and now 38.

I dont what all the shock is about, these guys have fought twice before and both times it was indreibly close. Yet some people seem to completely overlook that for some reason.

Floyd would win again by another dominating, 1 sided UD. Maybe even KO,if he really applies himself.
