After watching the Pacman Vs Marquez bout....Corruption comes to mind

I am ****ing fuming, dont think ive ever seen such a bull**** decision....

Boxing needs to sort its ****ing **** out sharpish, Its a professional sport, not some backwater bunch of bent ****....A big fight like that and they still throw the corrupt decision in front of the viewing world....How ****ing blatant can they get???.....

Something has to be done before its too late, this is a ****ing disgrace beyond anything...**** me why dont they just get the judges in from the Seoul olympics!!!

This sort of thing is being said too often, it's almost like it's after ever single big fight nowadays, infact not only the big cards, its the small Doncaster dome type one's, with British Officialling that are just as bad.

It's a crooked sport, where money is the be all, end all. It's Prize fighting at the end of the day. Since the early days, "champions" have been able to duck out of fighting the best challengers simply for the fact they could make more/equal money against less deserving challengers.

 

The problem with Boxing is the promoters, they have too much to lose from their fighters losing. And when you have that sort of back drop it is going to create an environment where there are let's say certain pressures on the people officiating the bouts. It's an absolute disgrace but that's what happens when you have a sport that is not governed by an impartial third party.

Why aren't there any promoters that just sign up fighters short term and say **** it lets make good fights, and their only aim is to put on good fights not build guys up and make them stars (the oft quoted statement from bs promoters). I honestly do not understand, Boxing is saturated as it is not everyone can create these Manny monsters that make huge cash, so why have 6/7 major promoters that are only interested in their small stable of fighters and "building them up". If I were a promoter I would want guys like Carlos Molina, Ishe Smith, guys that never seem to get a fair shake and never get a push from a promoter.

 

I'm near enough lost for words boys........I feel so ****ing sorry For Marquez, the poor lad.

 

Agreed, he should be having a massive day of celebration with his family today but has been robbed of it.

 

I was much more pissed off after the Agbeko fight.

I haven't seen the Pac-Marquez fight yet, but my god that fight pissed me off inept referring at its worst. At least they did the decent thing and arranged an immediate rematch.

This year has been some what of a carcass for the sport of Boxing, so much crap has gone down, which if you recount it all you really have to shake your head.
