Mine too, but I had Pacquiao the close winner. 116-113, but I think it is time to score it again.

    That's not a good thing.

Shocking decision, how anyone scored this fight for Manny needs to re-evaluate how they judge a fight.

The most rounds you can give Pacquiao is 5. The least is 3-4. Anyone who thought Pacquiao won has no idea how to score a fight.

Ok enlighten me on how boxing is scored by the judges. I thought the first and most important criteria in judging a boxing fight is effective punching. Isn't the 2nd or 3rd important criteria is ring general ship ( who is dictating the fight/controlling the ring, aggresor > passive).

I believe and it always has been that if the two fighters landed about the same amount of effective punches then you go to the 2nd and 3rd criteria of judging which is ring general ship. There were many close rounds and we all know judges score in favor of the aggressor. Manny was taking more risk trying to make a fight while JMM just waited to counter Manny. And btw, Pacquiao landed more per round that JMM.

Third thing I want to point out that people forget is Manny was the defending champion which means the challenger has to do more and win the rounds very convincingly to win the fight.

That is my take on that.

That's a complete myth. That's like saying Forrest had to go for the knockout against Mosley because the judges were automatically vouching for Mosley as he was the champ. **** off.

I wonder how many people are dumb enough to actually believe that garbage. "Youve got to take the belt from the champion." :patsch:patsch

At least there aren't alterations or "mistakes" on the card this time.

Also, after the fight, on espn, Dan Rafael stated he had it scored a draw, but the graphic they posted had MP winning 115-113. Could have been a technical mistake, seemed like revisionist history to me though.

Exactly. If you win the round, you win the round. Whether you are the champion or not. And whether you won it big or just edged it.

Back on topic: I had the fight 114-114.

Trowbridge should be made to watch the fight again and explain how he scored each round.
