I didn't think he was a good commentator at all, his input wasn't anything to me. I like Khan though in general.
Khan knows about boxing more than people think, people need to remember Khan eats sleeps the sport and is around the top trainers in the sport so he should know a thing or two. I even I was shocked about how much detail he went into about tactics.
I was amused by Amir's obvious distress at how Marquez was handling Manny. Amir thinks Freddie Roach is a demi-god and he seemed quite shaken up by events. Also, Khan doesn't know when "the championship rounds" are.
He's seems like a nice lad but commentators should be at least a little bit articulate. Khan, sadly, isn't. I liked how neutral he was, considering his ties to the Pacquiao camp, but he wasn't really 'good' was he? I thought Enzo Mac did a good job of it the other week.
yeah he said in round 8- 'these are the championship rounds, the last four rounds of the fight' not only does he not know when the championship rounds are, he also can't count I like him though
I'm amazed anyone believes that every fighter is avoiding Khan. Morales = too small, Khan shouldn't even be chasing him. Marquez = was fighting Pac Bradley = was in dispute with his promoter
Morales = titlist at 140, and handled Maidana better than Khan did Marquez = Straight up ducked Khan, saying he felt he was being fed to a hungry lion. He only went and fought Pacquaio now, Khan has been calling him out for a long time. Bradley = The "dispute" you mention was to do with him not wanting to fight Khan
He was a ****in joke I know he's not the sharpest tool in the shed but how many times did he go on about using the backhand? Would have thought he knew how many rounds there were in a fight considering he's a World Champ as they were coming out for the eighth he said last 4 rounds and as they came out for the 10th he said last 2 ****in HELMET!!!
You are pathetic. Morales is a paper titlist at 140 and did NOT handle Maidana better. Marquez is a lightweight. Khan is a LWW. How the hell is that a fight? That said, Marquez has shown he can compete at 140, it seems. Maybe it would make more sense. Khan should be calling out guys his own weight rather than faded lighter weight legends. Bradley's issue was that Shaw was trying to force him into a contract extension and keep a massive chunk of the purse for a Khan fight. This is well known, especially since Shaw is widely despised and famous for his disreputable nature. Bradley did what was right.
I thought the guy alongside Khan was absolutely terrible to be honest. I'm pretty sure that there was a time when he was saying that Marquez was wobbled by a big punch from Pacquiao, only problems were that Marquez tripped on the rope and the punch didn't even come close to landing.
The first two are fine, wouldnt wanna see Khan fight Morales ever. However the Bradley one has no ****ing excuse, and no one should justify it either. All this 'its business' ****, while true as it is in modern day boxing, is part and parcel of one of the main problems with boxing today. IMO. Not that Bradley is the only to partake in this ****.
