Mayweather if he gets his distance spot on will outbox Pacquiao on the back foot. He doesn't need to stand and trade, or fire back like Marquez did. He will be successful by keeping just out of punching range, making Pacquiao leap in through frustration, then counter him. He may have to throw 3-4 punches...but this is how he can beat Pacquiao.

    IMO anyway.

He is more versatile and fights better so he does not need to fight like Marquez though JMM is better for boxing. Much better at least he fights more than once per year.

With offense I lean towards JMM as he's older doing some nice combos but lets not forget Floyd has been more offensive lately and I can see him throwing 3 punches per time at Manny. He'll be hittable for Floyd, too hittable. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Floyd tko or at least him drop Manny on his ass.

Do I need to post videos of his last 8 fights?

Or are we going to acknowledge reality?

    I agree with this.

Floyd was gettin the end of his in exchanges with De La Hoya.

Marquez and Pac make De La Hoya look like De La SloWya.

^^ I forget that Pacquiao is not actually that big, height/reach, etc. I was expecting him to look much bigger than Marquez, including height wise (don't ask me why...:-() But yeah, last night reaffirmed why Mayweather can, and probably will beat Pacquiao using height, reach, and judge of distance. A couple of comparison gifs to see the height and reach difference...

Marquez was hit more often by Diaz and Katsidis, than he was Pacquiao. So BigReg is correct, he didn't open up a lot last night. He limited the number of exchanges.

mayweather could get hurt by pac because he cocoons and pac will take advantage of that BUT if floyd stands his ground then he should be able to give him another clinic

did you see the straight rights that marquez was able to hit manny with at will in the 2nd rnd when he had the proper distance and timed manny. that little moment is much like a mayweather fight will look like.

PBF will frustrate Manny with his superior defense, make him throw those wild punches and counte, counte, counter...Pacman had problem's with Clottey's guard- no way he is able to hit Floyd with clean punches

Doesn't mean can't! I think PBF can adjust better than anyone in the game and could make those adjustments if need be.

You are right. He fights better.

The difference between the two is JMM throws one or two punches to land the 2nd or 3rd punch. Mayweather on the other hand lands the first one. This is so obvious it hurts.

Sad part is that JMM already fought Mayweather and was schooled. You already know who the better fighter is. Still, the hate is all blinding. Delusional with hate.
