Unless there was a defect inside that glove, wraps don't rip like that. I think a glove defect is extremely unlikely, so I think it's more than probable that Margo had illegal wraps.

 

Great job by HBO using the earpieces to translate. It went really smoothly.

That was good to watch. I don't know how Cotto could be so calm and actually talk to this guy after all of the stuff that's happened after the first fight.

 

Were the handwraps from the Cotto-Margarito fight investigated and brought up in the investigation that followed the Mosley-Margarito scandal?

If so, what was found? If Margo was clean in that fight (and it wasn't some elaborate photoshop that has been widely circulating) then Cotto was beaten legitimately.

 

Margo knew he cheated. I hope Cotto goes at Margo with the intention and strength to push him back and put him on the defensive. That is how you beat Margo, Shane did it that way and so did P-Will. Make Margo back up and you got him.

 

This will be more entertaining. Cotto wants revenge while Margo tries to clear up his name that he didnt cheat on their first fight.

The thing is even so, if Margarito knew he was cheating, and that evidence is there for them to see, it would be illogical to wander around with his hands in the air shaking hand etc.

I find the picture intriguing to say the least, this is coming from a Margarito fan, but I still doubt he knew what was happening, that is, if it happened.

I don't have any genuine experience but I presume that Cotto was inferring that some foreign party would have to be under or within the gause to cause it to rupture.

I agree it would be interesting for a fighter or trainer to shed light on this topic.

Personally I don't think this fight will happen having seen the state of Margo's eye. I don't think the health authorities will allow it.
