can marquez can beat hopkins record or at least fight til mid 40's

    i thought pac won a close fight. not a robbery at all. robbery is dawson-johnson 1 or landy-williams. but it got me thinking marquez still has a lot left and can compete until mid 40's at a world class level or dare i say beat hopkins record if he sticks around.

    Marquez would need to win a title in 2019 to break Bernard's record. That's not going to happen. His defensive skills and legs aren't up to par with what Bernard's were.

    Nah his legs aint as powerful and his defense isnt what it was before he also brawls a lot (Diaz 1 and Katsidis)

    As a lower weight fighter it unlikely as their bodies age faster and any weight gain is exaggerated, plus to be frank fighters are better and the competition is greater at the lower weights.

    at this point i can't see guerrero beating him or bradley. i think he kos maidana, rios, alexander. khan might give him some issues but he's moving to 147.
