Even when you do everything right there's an outsider who can **** it all up for you, it's exactly like boxing :yep The wide cards were the right ones... Burgos outworked him and landed the harder shots troughout the fight. The 95-95 was a bind man's score.
Now thats two big fights thats lost its interest this year. Pac/ Floyd and Gamboa/ Lopez. Nice one top rank. Gimme Marquez/Morales next please. That would be fun.
Not a bad idea! Both Mexican veterans showed they have a lot more than most (including myself) though, make the JMM-Pac-Morales-Barrera quadrivalry complete!
Guys, I was playing pool while the Prescott fight was happening, saw some glimpses while I was playing and if you don't mind me asking, was Prescott putting on a boxing clinic before he got stopped?
Wouldn't say a boxing clinic, but he was pulling ahead early with solid output and busy jabbing against a passive Alvarado. Prescott started fading in the 6th and Alvarado started to close the gap, he needed a BIG 10th round and he delivered one. Impressive ending after a rocky start, saved his 0.
I see, and I must say they must have put up a war since most of the people (Filipinos) in my place were really into it, and that usually doesn't happen in undercard fights.
Ugh.... last night has left me a little deflated guys. I'm on my way home will b back in a few hours but idk... last night left an all around bad taste with me... :-(
