People who saw it as a clear win for Marquez needs to be embarrassed. They are discrediting the punch stats as much as possible as if it weren't there. Yes there are four clear rounds Marquez punches were blasting Pacquiaos face and body CLEARLY,,but thats just it 4 very dominating rounds.. The rest were close and Pac got 5 rounds by outlanding MARQUEZ more though not as dominating as those rounds by Marquez.

 

I had Marquez winning clearly and I don't "needs to be embarrassed"
I think if anyone is embarrassed right now it will be Pacquaio.
His and Freddie's demeanour certainly doesn't suggest that they're bursting with pride.

 

they werent happy with thier performance, they were expected to blow marquez out of the water and never did. doesnt mean they lost.

 

Pac was VISIBLY upset, both immediately after the bell and in the press conference after the Mosley fight. Dude aims to please and when he doesn't, he feels disappointed in himself. In this case, he didn't score an emphatic victory - just a tight win.

 

It was a close fight it could gone either way but the problem was JMM. His style is a counter puncher so if the round looks close even if Pac connects people would perceive it a JMM round. JMM style just looks overwhelming because Pac can't impose his combinations & people isn't used to that... Some of the round can be scored a draw so it's too close but with a counter puncher against a volume puncher JMM looks favorable for most. Some of JMM's punch were being block even if it's looks connecting but I'll try to watch it again in slow mo to score it clearly.
