I think the risk of Marquez counterpunching could be a greater deterent than the risk of Mayweather's solitary punching. If you noticed, Marquez at no point let Pac off the hook. Mayweather let Ortiz off the hook several times, allowing his opponent to aggressively bully him.
I not sure but I think Mayweather hit Ortiz with a six punch combo in the fourth round and I believe he threw many one two combos.
People talkin about Floyd bein a better combination punch than Marquez...****, DE LA HOYA was GETTIN THE BEST OF FLOYD, BEATIN THE **** outta him in combinations when they chose to go punch for punch. And Pac and Marquez make De La Hoya look like De La SLOWYA. And Mayweather can't outgun De La SLOWya, yet he has faster guns than Marquez? Nope, does not COMPUTE...
he's not a take and give fighter. he takes and he gives, but he's not a take and give fighter. arturo gatti was a take and give fighter. jake lamotta was a take and give fighter. pawel wolak is a take and give fighter. antonio margarito, bobby chacon, even shane mosley to an extent. marquez is an expert counterpuncher. floyd is the PREMIER, expert, counterpuncher. I see the comparison. if you dont see the comparison, you're secretly stating that marquez did well against pacquiao and that doesnt mean floyd will, when in fact that's exactly what it means.
lmao. He's a low output pinpoint puncher. He barely throws 3 punch combos, let alone a barrage of uppercuts and hooks. if you don't know that, you don't know anything.
Really, last time I watched Mayweather/Oscar it was Mayweather buckling Oscar's legs with combos to the body, while Oscar's punches had no effect. Either way what does what Oscar threw against Mayweather have to do with his ability to throw combinations? Nothing at all. Mayweather showed he was faster than Marquez in their fight. I really can't believe you are actually trying to argue Oscar and Marquez have faster hands than floyd. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
