Yea, McCloskey took all of the 2nd half because of it. I had the fight for Prescott by 1pt for the knockdown in 1.
Francesco Pianeta is a good italian prospect ( Lives In Germany, But born in Italy ). He bet Donnell Wiggins, Matt Skelton, ect. And also a draw with Albert Sosnowski a couple years ago.
I always thought that the skills of Albert Sosnowski is average at best. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think a draw against Sosnowski is something to be proud of, I mean if you hope to be a decent contender or a future champ, you should't only manage to get a draw with Sosnowski.
Yeah, I know him. He unfortunately got a bit stunted in his development, as he was out for a year battling testicular cancer. He was also unlucky being with Sauerland, who as you know also have Povetkin, Helenius, Pulev and Gerber (+ inactive Valuev) as heavyweights. He is now with SES, the promoter of Stieglitz and Zaveck.
Anyone else still gutted for marquez? It was a monumental performance which was deserving of a victory.
I haven't seen the fight, won't probably looking at a Mayweather fight either until this guys fight each other, Martinez or maybe just maybe some1 half as good as Khan or Bradley.
I had to go to the fourth page. Shameful. What's with the name change? It's not like a Connie Francis situation, is it?
Kidding me? Will hunt me at least for a week. I can get rid of the thought either by ranting it out, or give boxing a little break which I should've done today. Good to know our quality posters can score a fight. :thumbsup
Marquez doesn't need a rematch. He's won it 3-0. Just watched it again, I gave JMM the fight 116-112. Absolutely no idea how Pacquiao could get the nod here. Team Pac were making faces because they knew they might have lost the fight. They were saying it in the corner before the fight was even over. They were running around for the past few months saying how when Pac hit Marquez he wouldn't get up. But what actually happened was that once again, Marquez made Pac looked confused and unsure of what to do by not diving face first into his punches. Marquez proved that he is on Pac's level and that Pac cannot clearly beat him. Roach knew that Pac was failing to cut off the ring, he knew Pac was eating counters and that Marquez was boxing his ass off. i feel bad right now but i want to see a fourth fight between them so Marquez can get another nice payday and finally have an official win. **** boxing sometimes, love the sport but hate the politics and why are so many people on this forum saying Pac won a close fight?
Still gutted? This almost drove me away from boxing last night. I'm hanging on by a thread. I think we already lost BigBone.
Although I don't rank Pac vs JMM 3 as the worst decision ever, there have been so many bad decisions lately, I've had a hard time wanting to even talk about boxing online lately, which is why I've become more of a lurker as of late. I need to rewatch Pac/Marquez III, as I scored it 7-5 Pac, and am cool with 6-6.
11/19 - Billy Dib vs. Alberto Servidei - Dib UD 11/19 - Jose Rodriguez vs. Nethra Sasiprapa - Rodriguez TKO 11/19 - Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Peter Manfredo Jr. - Chavez Jr. TKO
Billy Dib vs. Alberto Servidei- Billy Dib by KO Jose Rodriguez vs. Nethra Sasiprapa- Jose Rodriguez by KO Francios Botha vs. Michael Grant- Michael Grant by KO Selcuk Aydin vs. Ionut Dan Ion- Selcuk Aydin by SD Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Peter Manfredo Jr.- Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by UD Price-McDermott is moved to next year. Anyway, I'm getting my picks in right now, because I'm going on another break. I'm going to take a week off and just (try) not to watch any boxing, do any shadow boxing and not think about boxing. And no breakdown this week because what's the ****ing point? The people are supposed to win will win. Chavez wins, Dib wins, and Aydin wins because they are supposed to win. Aydin might get tripped up because this is a rematch and more eyes will be on Turkey. Hopefully, there will be justice. So, there's my picks. Take care, I'll be back in a week.
