he's above them. problem early in his career he wasn't as exciting and that's why he didn't get the attention he deserves. he fought like what he did for a living, an accountant. only starting in his late 20's early 30's he brought more action to his fights.

That logic doesn't really stand up to scrutiny.

I don't think that should be brought into it at all. Mayweather didn't even make the weight. And you may or may not have heard Nacho say the camp was a disaster. They had him carrying rocks and doing other strange training techniques, completely messed with his flexibility. And he did look stiff and slow in that fight, a million miles away from what he was last night. You can label that excuse making if you like, but Marquez is far, far better than he showed that night, I think that's obvious.

I lost a bit of respect for JMM because of the May fight. It was nothing but awoman pay day. He went in knowing he was going to lose. Nacho said it was for money and they knew he couldn't beat May. Size was a big problem. Nothing wrong for the pay day thing. I just think the fans deserved better.

JMM should fight Morales... their age difference wouldn't be much of a difference. This is a fight I would like to see!

It suits the agenda to have a fighter Mayweather dominated as being a level above Morales, remember the `who`s greater, Morales or Mayweather` thread ?... there were some very upset Floyd fans sharing their views in that thread, PP was amongst them

Agree, JMM is the best technical fighter of the three.

His counter-punching style doesn't endear him to Mexican fans. Morales and Barrera were go forward, beat your ass down fighters while maintaining a high level of technique. Marquez is more scientific in his approach. He doesn't mind retreating and waiting for opportunities. I personally like Marquez' style better but the mold of the Mexican champion is one who imposes himself on the other fighter. From that viewpoint, Marquez comes in 3rd.

OK, this is weird. If JMM ranks ahead of Morales, that means JMM ranks ahead or is dead even with Floyd given the other Floyd/Morales poll results.
