Good read. I think part of the reaction is that people expected Manny to destroy Marquez. When Marquez fought a great fight and pushed Manny again, people yell robbery. I don't know why people are saying Marquez "dominated", it was a very close fight. There will always be a trade off between clean effective punches and volume/activity and fights like the ones between Pac and Marquez will be viewed differently, depending on what people value.

Let's just make everyone who ever fights in the States a mini-Paul Williams since "workrate" (no matter how ineffective) is somehow more important than any demonstration of skill or effective punching. **** off Woods.

Worst articles I have ever read. Judging is based on punches landed not punches thrown. Nowhere is activity every described as how to score a fight.

    Ridiculous nonsense article.

I'll be honest here. I myself wasn't thrilled about the fight because I was expecting a real beat down of PAC over MARQUEZ. But MARQUEZ was on his defensive MODE avoiding a knockdown or worse knock out. But to say that PAC doesn't deserve the win is BALONEY ! MARQUEZ has never been a good sport anyways, so what do you expect? :hat

Article has a more realistic view than you do. We don't live in an ideal world. That's why we have three judges instead of one omniscient force.

NO **** *******. They stole from his legacy, resume and bank account and gave it to the less deserving fighter.

Apparently, different perceptions don't exist according to you. Judges either "get it right" or are consciously changing scores to favor a fighter out of corruption. :patsch
