Lederman exposed his asinine scoring talking about you score aggression, no you don't score aggression, you score EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION.

Manny was not EFFECTIVE in his aggression last night and Marquez was landing the CLEAN PUNCHES to the body and head over Manny for more rounds.

Not to mention Marquez dictated the action and pace of the fight, RING GENERALSHIP, and had the better DEFENSE

Yep, Lederman still doesn't seem to understand the scoring criteria after all of these years. His explanations last night were about as asinine as they were during Alexander-Kotelnik.

 

All this bull**** about everyone crying robbery because we expected a blow out by PAC is mierda. Marquez won by ****ing blow out. Some people had Marquez winning 11rounds. It was that wide. Pac was absolutely schooled.

Judges who put more emphasis on volume than they put on clean effective punching should be banned from boxing. Fans who think it's okay to do that should have their eyes poked out. Judges need to follow the God Damned rules, and fans need to educate themselves on what the rules say!

 

The fallacy here is the assumption that all Pac did was throw, and landed nothing clean. JMM's face suggests otherwise.

If people want to lambast Pac's aggression as NOT effective, that's fine, but too many people post the one sided argument. Was JMM's aggression more effective? Was his defense better? Not really.

 

Fights are scored by rounds won. I can get you with a 100 punches late in a fight but that doesnt change the fact you beat my ass during the majority of the bout.

 

There has been a tendency for a while now to reward the fighter 'making the fight'. Not a surprise. Backing up and countering is a valid thing if someone picks a fight with you in a bar. People pay to see action in a pro fight. Marquez got picked apart against May because he knew he had to come forward and it wasn't his game. If Pac and May fight Pac would have to turn the fight into a real stinker to win. Go forward, throw a few punches and back off. If May doesn't come forward and retaliate, he loses the round. Same thing I suggested Kelly should do against AA as a matter of fact.

 

Let me sum up that article, guy didn't like how JMM fought, so even though he won, he deserved to lose the decision.

the third fight is a close one, just like their first 2. no matter how many times they fight, it will always be like that, I commend these two warriors, they're both legends, they're strengths and skills negate each other. Both are winners for me, but if people really wants to see a clear winner, let them fight till the end until only one man is left standing, no more judges.
