Cotto's lack of heart is sad; and he admits it

I've always said it. Everytime the going gets tough he quits. There are many forms of quitting in boxing. His form is when **** gets tough to stop fighting and run the entire ring reluctant to fight.

And yesterday we saw him admit it in the face off. Margarito is saying he is willing to die in the ring and cotto turns around and says " for what" and " Its stupid to fight with a broken bone". Why is this guy a fighter??? If you dont have heart keep that **** to yourself.

OF COURSE Cotto gets the pass, because everyone seems to love him for some reason on here. How is this guy going to say he doesn't want to risk his health when you have people like Margarito, Morales, Gatti and the countless of warriors that have taken nothing back to the dressing room.

And before one of you punks fires the " i'd like to see you fight" bull****, just know that i am not a world class fighter. I dont make a living in boxing. I dont have to fight anyone or prove my heart to anyone as i am a boxing fan, and he is a boxer, and it is what separates me from him.

 

Mike Alvarado's great performance last night puts Cotto to shame.

 

I assure you that Cotto has risked his health before. He's had many tough battles that he's fought through.

 

I like how people assume a boxer has to play with brain trauma over his children.. You either know when to quit or you do not.. Being healthy for his kids is more important than him being a "warrior" he has proven that already.

 

I've mostly defend Cotto but his comments were down right sad. A real warrior wont even say what Cotto just said in the face off. And Cotto act like he's the only one that has a family.

Well he made a good point that he has 4 kids and that boxing is nothing compared to Family and the responsibility of taking care of them. That doesn't mean he won't get there in and give it 100%. He was badly hurt against Pacquiao and didn't want the fight to be stopped, even though he was being destroyed in the later rounds. He has some heart, give him a little credit.

 

Cotto fought Margarito who probably used plaster on his wraps. Without the wraps, Margarito is garbage!

Margarito has hurt a lot of boxers using hardening plaster on his gauze. Now he has to fight legal. Margarito won't ever beat an elite fighter. Cotto is not elite anymore, but he is tough. When you go 11 rounds against plaster, I won't question Cottos heart.
