Last week, my p4p top 5 looked like this:

    1- Pac
    2- Mayweather
    3- JMM
    4- Donaire
    5- Sexy Sergio.

But after last night, my list changes dramatically. As I feel Marquez won (and won handily at that), he becomes my number 1. Mayweather stays where he is despite dominating Marquez (size, weight etc all plays a factor), and Pacquiao drops to number 3.

Is this too hasty? Should Floyd be catapulted to number 1? Does Pac deserve to keep his spot as he was given the decision officially?

    I'm confused!*

Officially Pacquiao will stay number 1.

Personally i'd move Floyd to 1, JMM to 2 and Pacquiao to 3. I'm sure a lot of people will do the same but officially it won't

Too hasty mate. I'd keep it as it is for now.

    1 - Mayweather
    2 - Pac
    3 - JMM

Sometimes you just have a guys number but Pac's recent record far eclipses what JMM has done in the last few years. I feel/have felt for a while may I add that Mayweather beats Pac and add in other achievements etc. Mayweather is my number one.

:yep I didn't score the fight last night, just watched it. I've got it downloading now but I can't see myself coming up with a 118-110 card for JMM like some people seem to be getting.

The thing is, if we can't address it now, when is the 'right' time?

But then again, surely a fighter is better than their last fight? Considering recent achievements, is it unfair to drop him considering he won?

I'm seriously confused and in two minds!!

Personally I'd wait until Marquez does something else worthy of this sort of level the Mayweather loss, even out of his division, was just too comprehensive.

TBH, its a mythical "title" anyway so its not the end of world if it isn't addressed IMHO.

(I'm not a fan of P4P mate, thinking back I'm not really sure why the hell I posted in this thread!!:patsch)

Like you I didn't score it but there were far too many close rounds for it to be a robbery imo.
I look forward to your scorecard:good

I question whether Martinez is even top 5. Probably is I suppose, though there's quite a distance between him and Donaire in terms of ability and body of wins, where he's eclipsed rather comfortably IMO.

Not really sure about the top 3, probably wait for the commotion to die down before trying to think rationally.
