Manny vs JMM

i had 6 rounds to JMM, 1 rnd a draw and 5 to pac.

That being an extremely generous scoring in pacs favour. Of any of the 6 rounds I gave to JMM, not one could even be remotely scored for Pac.

 

I gave JMM at the very least 6 rounds and I also thought they were
rounds clearly dominated by JMM with no possibility of them going to Pac.

On top of that, I gave JMM 2 closer rounds, I had JMM 8 rounds to Pac 4.
Which is realistic as Pac missed the majority of his combos and rarely
hit JMM flush - whereas JMM was bashing Pac half the time.

I actually thought even a draw wouldve been a robbery for JMM,
I couldnt believe the first score card, I was to be absolutely stunned
when I heard the last 2, but I shouldve known better.

 

I actually gave the fight to

Pacquiao by DQ.

As i really feel after reading more and more on Marquez and his New Fitness Coach i think Marquez Juiced for this fight.

Its sort of funny cos its sort of true.

On a real note didnt score the fight yet cos i havnt watched it with No Sound as i feel i after a couple days and the dust settles its best to watch it No Sound a few days later.

 

That decision was a robbery. They have given it to Manny because the mega fight they want to go ahead would have lost them too much money. He had to win for them to set up the big bucks fight with Pretty Boy.
Anothere reason why boxing is failing. The sport I love is giving me the shits.

 

I don't really get that the Floyd fight motivated that robbery. Fewer will want want to watch Floyd vs Manny now.
Marquez is really the champ.

 

Wrong mate. I remember starting a thread on here asking posters who had seen DLH-Sturm if they thought it was a robbery . Most said it was watched it for myself yeah Sturm was robbed but I bet Hopkins-DLH still rated well even though Oscar lost to Sturm. Floyd-Manny if it happens will still be huge. Feel bad for JMM though.

 

Exactly, people are not stupid, the big $100mil fight with PBF is more like $30mil at best now.

Manny needs to fight JMM again and win this time impressively b4 the PBF fight can be entertained.

 

The Oscar / Sturm fight was sweeped under the carpet as Sturm was and still is a no name in the states...... The manny v JMM cannot is completely different.

 

Even the philipinos at my local club knew PAC lost the fight, they nearly started a riot with the descision, ****ing cheering lol.

I thought JMM was all over PAC in the middle rounds, his counters were crisp and he was making manny pay for his mistakes. I don't know how JMM manages to negate lacs foot work and speed to time him so well, especially at the age of 38.

Prescott fight was sick, that last round was brutal to watch. Had nothing left at all but gave it hell

 

Alverado is a beast to come back after what Prescott did to his face and win.FOTY.

 

anyone heard floyds opinion of the situation?

 

i had 117-111 to jmm, he fought the perfect fight. I think his fantastic body punching has gone unnoticed.

 

I had JMM up by 4 rds. He simply can't get a break when fighting Pac can he. When that final bell rang Pac walked to his corner like a beaten. He knows who won that fight.

 

Sturm was robbed from what I recall, but that's digressing.

I said I doubt the Floyd fight was a motivating factor, to clarify, I feel it was more general Pacman P4P type hysteria. Like they're all hoping he will one day be the one to KO Floyd. . . .
I still think less will watch Floyd Pac, but it will still be big, if and when. Other fights could change this again though.
If they were going to give Pacman a victory they should do it against Floyd. Marquez deserves better than 0-2-1 for those three fights.
