I never scored it round by round, I just wanted to enjoy it, I might go back to it & do a round by round later.... but from what I seen, I thought it was a very close fight, I have no problem with the decision, I read numerous posts on here were people were crying robbery etc so maybe I expected too much from Marquez but this did not look like a robbery to me regardless of who got the verdict.

WTF is the point of people saying "Well, I didn't score it round by round - but it wasn't a robbery!"? :patsch

Nothing wrong with that, IB. You couldn't really know who won a close fight without keeping score, but you could determine whether or not a robbery took place.

...unless, upon scoring it round by round you then determine that there are 8 clear rounds for the guy who lost and it wasn't as close as you initially thought it was going by points.

That is pretty much by definition a robbery.

Agreed, I getting tired of reading that Marquez didn't do enough to win this fight. Sure Pac was the aggressor, but it was ineffective aggression. Marquez showed better ring generalship, dictated the pace and landed the cleaner shots.

What was your scorecard IB? I usually checkout your round by round and you seem to know your ****.

The truly controversial rounds seem to be the bookends (the 1st and the 12th).

I gave Pacquiao the 1st; most people gave it to Marquez.

I gave Marquez the 12th; more people seem to have been swayed by Lampley into giving it to Pacquiao.

marquez wasnt dictating the pace, how can he if all he did through out the fight was backing up?

Emotion has nothing to do with it. I was probably the only JMM fan in the world who had Pacquiao up 39-37 through four rounds. :deal

I picked Marquez to get dominated and lose a wide unanimous decision (or even stopped due to a referee wave-off or Nacho throwing in the towel).

Marquez took over in the last eight rounds (and won seven of them). That's just a fact of life, as much as is a third set of judges screwing him out of yet another earned win against Manny Pacquiao.

marquez didnt do anything on the 12th, he was missing wildly with his shots

Its easy to tell if you just watch the ****in thing, there was no domination like I was led to believe on here.

It looked like a close fight to me & I don`t like Pacquiao really.
