I don't agree with the racial aspect of it but the contention from the HBO crew and judges seems to be that JMM lost because he was not the aggressor even though he clearly outboxed Pac.

PBF can run and counter all day but will be given total credit because that is what he is supposed to do.

HBO mentioned that Marquez, as the challenger, should have pressed more and they did mention that his corner didn't do a good job letting him know he's winning and shouldn't take any risks. If his post is directed towards HBO's crew then my first response is irrelevant as I obviously thought his post is directed towards typical fan criticism.

 

I don't even know what Floyd has to do with this ****. You guys are so wrapped up in your personal biases and agendas that you're reaching far beyond what's obvious to explain what happened last night. The networks and two of the major promotions in boxing have a vested interest in protecting the mega-fight between Pac and Mayweather. That's why Marquez lost and why the HBO team was trying to distort reality. It's the same reason why Sturm got screwed against DLH when the Hopkins fight was on the horizon. It has absolutely nothing to do with people being biased in favor of defensive black fighters in general or specifically Floyd Mayweather.

I don't see how people say this about Marquez, that he ran and whatnot. Unlike other boxers when Marquez fights on the backfoot, in particular against Pac, it's still one of the most exciting fast paced action fights around! This is the best fight since ****en Marquez/Pac 2!:deal
