It's only a matter of time until a British referee gets knocked spark out. I can only imagine how annoying it must be to work your ass off in training to prepare for a fight only to have some spastic stop it prematurely.. That stoppage in the Fury fight was laughably bad. What a ****. :patsch

British Boxing officials are worst than Germans.

Atleast in Germany, they don't stop the fight at the first sight of afew punches getting thrown.

I just read the Jay Morris took his glove off and threw it at the ref in his most recent loss

    I agree with Gaz!

The stoppage wasn't even that bad. The guy's legs were gone and he couldn't defend himself

Unless that happened back stage then it didn't happen....he went mental and stormed out of the ring but didn't throw anthing, not that I saw anyway.

:thumbsup The bloke had been put on his arse twice and was about to get properly skulled...I think that some sadists are only happy with a stoppage when it consists of a man being carried unconscious/dead from the ring

I didn't think the Fury stoppage was that bad but Angulo-Kirkland couldn't have happened in Britain.

"It looks like Webb has got his legs back a bit now"

*Arron throws range finding jab to Webb's guard*

"Oh no they have gone again!"

Neither took the same level of punishment as Angulo.

He ripped his gloves off and threw them onto the deck but not at the referee

there have been a few bad stoppages recently but i dont think saturday was one of them, if there was 2 minutes left in the round no one would have complained!!

I think it was a bad stoppage... at the end Fury hit him hard, took a hell of a shot back and again hit him hard with only a couple of seconds left on the clock. Pajkic was clearly capable of fighting back and I could understand his frustration.

Like said, Kirkland vs Angulo would never have happened in Britain and I'm quite sure the Prescott vs Alvarado fight would have ended in a TKO win for Prescott if it had taken place in the UK.
