Primetime commentators were biased towards JMM IMO

HBO were biased towards Pac IMO

Ive just watched the fight back with the volume turned off and the fight was a draw IMO, slightly leaning towards Pac.

pac landed more shots and threw more but JMM landed the most telling shots.

Watching live Sunday morning on Primetime I cant help but think that the commentators were influencing my decisions to favor that JMM was robbed,

but then watching it online yesterday on HBO I favored Pac

The fight was already viewed with a bias....Pacquiao was the juggernaut that was supposed to mow Marquez down in a few rounds. Every good shot JMM landed was contrary to that and stood out more.
Pac won that fight, although it was very close.

I think Mannys desire to look so good (obvious pressure after Floyd shut him down), and he didn't want to trade and mix it up as much. I think he wanted to beat him without getting dirty, and Pac isn't a good enough boxer to shut JMM down that way.

pac lost the fight quite clearly. The majority of boxing fans around the world scored it for marquez, at that includes a lot of pinoys.

All I seem to remember from that fight was Pacquiao's blue shorts, him missing an awful lot, a booing crowd, a Brian May looking mother****er who wouldn't shut up, and Amir Khan talking ****.

Also if you need to mute sound just so you won't get influenced that's pretty pathetic, only weak minded people would get influenced on how to score something they can see with their own eyes.

Okay. You may now rest. You've been on the net for almost two nights whining about Marquez loss.

When your expectations of one fighter are extremely high, and those of the other fighter not so much, I'm not surprised that so many thought Marquez won. Some people even said they gave Pac no more than 3 rounds! I have no idea what fight some of you were watching

Judging an outcome of the fight is all about opinions, it just so happens that the majority of boxing fans around the world think marquez won, and won quite comfortably. This includes two of manny pac own stable mates linares and Khan. So maybe we all don't know how to score fights or maybe it is the small minority who think pac won, who need to review how a fight is scored.

Out of curiously, where did you get your "most boxing fans around the world" figures? I'm not denying them, I'm just curious as to where you got them.
Even if a few of Pacs stablemates thought JMM won, like you said those are opinions. This fight was close enough that a robbery either way is an overreaction.

One thing there's no denying is that expectations going in this fight were extremely high for Pacquiao, roach didn't expect this fight to go past 6 rounds, so the disappointment from his team and fans (and himself) that it was so close tells the tale.
Not to mention all the Floyd fans who couldn't be happier that the fight turned out the way it did....anything other than a knockout for Pacquiao was a loss in their eyes.
