Cos he's a boxer and can call what's actually happening, unlike HBO team who are biased and probably have never stepped in a ring before so only ever have an outsider perspective. Especially that bellend Max Kellerman. He is more interested in stringing together collections of large words into dramatic and obviously rehersed, biased speeches.
I'd imagine he was paid more for the Diaz rematch than he would have got from a Khan fight at the time. In fact I'm certain of it. Apparently he got the best part of $2m for Katsidis, who wasn't the draw Stateside that Diaz was at the time. Either way, you're lucky your hero didn't get the Marquez fight :yep
Beristain JMM trainer: "Khan is very strong and it's not a good fight right now because he's not fully recovered from the Mayweather fight, which was just brutal. "I think it's better to get another opponent. He should not be exploited again. Juan Manuel deserves to retire like a true champion and not as someone's stepping stone."
This content is protected Diaz made 500,000, and marquez probably made 1 mill, coud have made much more vs khan, diaz made maignaggi/maidana money, not big money at all in big fight terms....
i found khan brutal at comentating, he was talking shite most of the time and was stuttering **** like styles makes fight over and over again
How do you consistently **** up posting an image? Since when is $1m small money? Marquez had just come off of a $3m payday against Mayweather and, off of the loss, got a $1m payday against Diaz. That's pretty good money, unless you're an idiot who tries to take it out of context. I wonder what Marquez got for fighting Pacquiao on Saturday? Will that be small money too? You are a total dick.
This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected your the dick, i didnt post an image, it just happens., where did i say marquez made small money? i just said he would have made more against khan. the truth is u just make **** up like u know everything, with your emails from cameron dunkin, :rofl couldnt post em because there private? whats so private about em? you share raunchy pictures with him or something?:deal in reaity your just a troll who spends alot of his time arguing on here. get a life and stop getting so worked up on a boxing forum, goodbye :hi::hi::hi:
You are weird, Iron Chin. You can choose to believe me or not. It really doesnt matter at all. My brief splurge with writing a boxing site gave me a lot of contacts (as did The Uppercut) and Ive been lucky to keep in touch with most of them. Im not going to share a private email (Dunkins dirty talk is scintillating. Youre not ready for it) just because some little dip**** on the internet cries at me. And yes, youre the dip****.
:think I don't remember that being the case exactly. Before the Alexander fight, Bradley had already signed an extension with Shaw that was to last until the end of June. This extension was to include the Alexander and Khan/Maidana fights. Unfortunately, when all the respecitive fights had concluded, HBO only had a July date for the 140 final (a couple of weeks after that contract with Shaw had expired). So, to honour his promise to the fans that he would fight Khan, Bradley agreed verbally (Dunkin admitted this) to extend the contract by a couple of weeks to accomodate the Khan fight. But then, after learning a Pacquiao fight was a possibility in the future if he signed to Top Rank, Bradley backed out on his word. It was this that Shaw had a problem with. He wasn't asking him to sign any further extensions that would go beyond the Khan fight that he [Bradley] had promised, like many (not you) seem to have the impression of. That's how I recall it, anyway. (Oh, and it's important to note, Bradley admitted to the dangers of losing to Khan, and being out of Pacquiao-Mayweather sweepstakes)
