Pacquiaos ineffective aggression vs marquez patient cerebral countering

Marquez won, nothing to do with the crowd

You could hear the embarrasment in Khans voice after the score was announced, you could even see the look on mannys face

Harold Lederman is a joke, his scorecard was simply put terrible and the fact he's scored both previous fights for Pacquiao speaks volumes about how reliable his scoring is.

Giving Pacquaio every close round and benefit of the doubt you could probably have it 7-5, giving Marquez every close round you could have it 11-1 - I've seen good posters have it at 11-1 or 10-2 to Marquez. I had it 9-3 to Marquez

Marquez landed the better punches throughout, clean acurate punching. He controlled the range and where exchanges took place - ring generalship. Pacquaio was aggressive, but was his aggression effective? Marquez when he came forward was very effective. You don't get points for coming forward and missing punches, you get points for coming forward and landing

The punchstats are well and truly off base and thats because they're open to human error. The fact it's easy to find highlights of Marquez's best punches and it's hard to find the same for Pacquaio says it all. Then there's the fact Pacquaio's own team thought he lost. Look at Pacquaio's body language at the end. See Roach said 'Manny you need a KO to win', Khan and Linares thought Marquez won. Why do they think a rematch is so important if they won?

And that means, Your opinion is still worth **** and clearly biased.

Like I said, Im a big Pac fan. Probably my favourite current fighter, but he got schooled.

Why is it every boxer out there scored the fight for Marquez. Noway except Pacs little group scored that to pac, noway.

If I was Marquez I would be sueing that **** Arum for every penny he has. Noway should Marquez have a 0-1-2 against Pac. Just criminal

Either way, this fight showed a massive weakness to Pacs game. he can't fight crude counter punches who fight on the back foot

Looks sensational against slow forward fights e.g. Cotto, Marg, Hatton, but put him in with a defensive master like Marquez and he comes unstuck

Hatton and Cotto are not slow come forward fighters and Marquez ain't no damn defensive master.

And even though I think JMM won against Pac this Saturday, he wouldn't be able to beat Hatton,Cotto or Margarito.

    Pop. Stop.

On first viewing I had it 6-6 but arguably 7-5 for jmm.

I'm gonna rewatch it again at some point but to claim, as you have, that noone scoring round by round could have marquez the winner... well that's stupid imo.

Marquez sin't no defensive master? Well his defense looked pretty solid to me Saturday night, as did his counter punching.

What do you class as a defensive performance then, without running round the ring

he clearly walked back, nailing Pac with the counter all fight. And blocked 95% of what Pac threw.

Hatton and Cotto ain't slow come forward fighters? Both are pressure fighters, especially Hatton. And yes I would say they are both relatively slow compared to Pac's speed.

Someone sure is mad today, maybe all them bull**** posts you did before the lead up to the fight has exposed you for being the dickhead:rofl

P.S Marquez schooled pac, it was easy work, both pac sparring partners had it for marquez as did the majority of boxing fans just check the polls, i guess their friendship will be ended:lol:
