it would be a tight fight, im edging with mitchell on this one. all depends on which mitchell turns up!
Mitchell's credibility has took a hit after basically going back on the **** after a career saving performance against Murray I think his interview is a little delusional , i dont see where and how he " gave John Murray a beating " , yes he stopped him , and Murray was hit with some solid shots , but by and large it was tit for tat and both fighters scored damage through out the fight , Murray was hit cleanly and he didnt respond because the conditioning clearly wasnt there . It was by no means a clinic from Kevin , but a good solid well rounded performance of boxing and punching . The Burns fight i see as a pick em , pure ability i give to Mitchell as well as variety , the better athlete is Ricky Burns , you can see he lives the sport , chin and heart goes to Burns too , he's been hurt in the past but lately he's looked stronger , and his body looked huge and solid @135 , i think that will help his punch resistance immensely , Kevin has only been broken once , but John Murray was forcing mistakes from Kevin and was picking his jab nicely around rounds 5 - 7 , both fighters jab well , Burns more disciplined , Mitchell utilises a good faint left hook / uppercut and and lets his back hand go behind the jab when ever he can Its a great fight i hope it happens :deal
