Carl Froch does himself no favours

Carl Froch has upset me again.

I've just caught up with Thursday's Ringside and Froch's arrogance has appalled me. He said he never got out of second gear against Glen Johnson. This is bull. Froch gave his all against Johnson and struggled because of his limitations. After the Johnson fight Froch said he struggled because of the heat. So why the bravado? Probably because Bute did a better job against Johnson. He also suggested that Glen made no effort against Bute because he had little to gain.

Carl Froch is not the talented boxer he thinks he is. However, he is a warrior and makes up for this other ways. He needs to stop all this bravado.

He should Just own up to his shortcomings.

Froch saying Johnson didnt try against Bute because he had nothing to gain was just ridiculous and made him look/sound like a complete *****.

I agree but most boxers are arrogant to some extent; it's a defence mechanism.

I agree with Froch. Johnson didn't look like he was trying against Bute, whereas the stakes were huge were he able to win against Froch.

A boxer said something arrogant? He's clearly in the wrong sport.

A few months back Johnson was this teak tough veteran who would give anyone in the game a tough night. But in a matter of a few weeks he became this disinterested old man. Froch talks a lot of shite.

I don't like Froch talking either to be honest, but I like his willingness to take challenges and his style, there aren't many boxers I'd be willing to go abroad to watch.

Froch said words to this effect in the post fight interview. He knew he couldn't stop Johnson so he coasted for the points win.
