It should be exciting then if Margarito's eye falls out, it should be ok to cheer then right? He's wearing shades all the time right now, but since he was willing to "die in the ring", being blind makes him a "cult like figure" and that's obviously much more important than that wife and kids that need him to support them. While being blind, he can tell his son "I'm sorry, son tell me what you look like I can't see you" or "I'm sorry son, I can't teach you how to play any sports anymore, I can't see". Who cares if his son is crying because of that, it's more important that the fans have an icon to look up to than the people most important in someone's life having their loved one able to live a long life with. So if he is blind later on, I don't expect to see any sympathy or unhappiness because he was willing to die in the ring. Good, got it. :roll::-roll::-(

When the majority of boxers approach the end of their career they have a different outlook on life and the sport, especially if they have a family, Cotto is no different.

Do you have a family? Would you be willing to die at work and leave them behind?

The beating Margarito gave Cotto was down right frightening, and yet, Cotto is going to fight him again. That is the very definition of heart.

margarito compared himself to chavez against taylor...chavez had pop in his punches up until the last round while marg has lost it early...why continue fighting if you dont have a chance already???

 

Margarito, will never ever be a S.Sanchez, Chavez, or any of the other great Mexican fighter that bring it with pure heart....only way to beat Cotto is to cheat....
