If Floyd was bitching out and overly concerned with Manny before, I don't think he still is after Saturday. I get the impression that Pacquiao has been rather indifferent about the fight.

Arum, however, I think will try to kill the fight. It might not be the first time, or last time either.

I have little interest in Pacquiao-Marquez 4. Does anyone NOT see it being another close, disputed decision?

It is a duck. He can do a JMM rematch after Floyd demolishes him and it will still sell.

If he turns down Floyd to fight a fighter that he just "beat", there is no way to other conclusion to come to.

Marquez will have to kill him to get a draw. JMM getting robbed has gotten very, very old.

Yes you can. We're tired of seeing Marquez getting jobbed. There's no point in fighting Marquez for the 4th time right now. Everyone wants to see him fight Floyd. He should take that fight first. If he wins or loses that fight decisively, then he can Marquez again if he wants.

He's been ducking Floyd for years. It's obvious now.... he found his a new way out of the fight.

What happens if Marquez turns down a 4th fight?

If they're open to fighting JMM in May and JMM turns it down, why not fight Floyd in May?

Yea it actually makes more sense to fight Floyd next because win or lose the Marquez fight would still be on the table n it would still sell tickets......if manny loses to jmm in a 4th fight may vs. PAC is off

No of course not. Manny has tried to fight floyd for years, but Mayweather was scared. He should fight JMM again.

If Pac was such an upstanding guy who wanted to settle scores right away, he wouldn't have waited 4 years to give Marquez a rematch the first time, and 3 years the 2nd time. How convenient that he wants to settle the score right away when his only other viable option is Mayweather. It's between gutting out tough decision against Marquez or possibly getting taken a part by Mayweather. It's no wonder why team Pac seems more interested in option A.

It doesn't matter. JMM just effectively wasted 4 months of his life preparing for this fight, given the official result. Being that he'll have to put in a similar effort for number 4 (presumably it takes him a timeframe like that to get his body prepared well for fighting in the 140s) and could end up with another result like the last 3, coupled with the fact that his body will be another training camp older.........I just can't see him accepting another fight. At least not before another more straightforward fight.

But $10m is a lot of money.

You're acting like the line draws to a complete end at the next fight. There's nothing which says that it's May 5th or never at all. If the May-Pac fight doesn't happen in mid 2012, it can happen in late 2012. And if JMM officially won, they would have gunned for the rematch, anyway. So I see no difference here.
