He still has John O'Donnell , Kid Galahad and a few others so hopefully he can get them in title fights and channel 5 show a bit more .

Thats actually well good, Im glad boxing attracting some real numbers on tele, just shows how much terrestrial television gets you exposure (even on 5). how many nights has Mick Hennessy got with 5, anyone know?

    Awesome.

The shows have always been enjoyable and straight to the point. Perfect for the mainstream.

    I missed Al though.

Hopefully he can pick up a few more dates once Eubank gets established. He can headline his own shows without Fury and they can show a fight off the undercard.

This shows Boxing has a audience to get hold of, my girlfriend agreed we watch the fight after the ****in' X Factor, she was well into it when he got knocked down!

Fury is no 'Sugar' but he will always bring entertainment, but I see him getting KTFO soon.

****** should take a look at that, get boxing more on terrestrial, not subscription channels!

    All going well for Mick,

The problem is that when Fury loses (which he will soon IMO) will he still pull the numbers in? The fact that he is in exciting fights will help

. He is obviously relying heavily on Eubank Jnr but he won't be in a position to headline shows when Fury loses.

To be honest, it doesn't matter a jot to mainstream whether Fury is getting tougher fights or not. Joe Public doesnt know **** about boxing. As long as they are exciting people will keep tuning in.

Same old bull**** ITV used to pull, showing Eubank or Hamed looking awesome against tin cans and getting knockouts.

Tyson is entertaining, was warming up for a match the other day and mate who boxes asked about the fight to me and then another lad chipped in and he's not even a boxing fan really but Fury's making a name and he's entertaining the fans.

Yup, thats the big problem. At the moment its very much "The Tyson Fury Show" on Channel 5.

All future Fury fights should get huge viewing figures as well because Fury against any top 200 heavyweight will be a close competitive fight. I wouldn't be surprised if Rogan actually takes the fight now after watching Fury's awful last performance. Both men need each other for different reasons. Rogan for the last big pay day and Fury so that he can crack the Irish market.

which is just what he needs right now :-( i think he needs time off tog et his head right, then come back with a conditioning coach, and a tighter defence, better footwork punch form and blast pajkic out and move on from there. not saying his activity isnt great just not what he needs right now, some of the stuff on his twitter is worrying, one minute hes drinking three bottles of whiskey, next hes talking about killing people in the ring :verysad surely it cant be hard for mick to find another decent name that could headline?

That's worrying haven't seen his twitter before, as for Mick he struggles to make his show not look like a unlicensed fight night at Caesars in Streatham. Even the press conference was a mess, He doesn't have control of things by looks but he needs to get someone else to hold the contract up a bit as you say. Maybe even strike a deal but sadly don't see that happening..
