Because Arum really thinks he can get two-three more fights out of Manny before fighting Floyd and he will keep those fights in house which means he cashes out even more. Then eventually, when Manny beats Marquez again and Cotto/Margarito again, he will throw Manny to Floyd. Manny will lose and retire.

Unfortunate if true. I certainly don't want to see Pac - JMM again.

Arum will never make the Floyd fight. It's all over.

If I was Arum I'd say the same thing, it's a negotiation ploy. Pac has lost some luster, you don't just roll over and give everything up to Floyd. Floyd's brave now and wants the fight while Manny is still this big (he could very well lose a decision in a fourth Marquez fight, which means Floyd loses millions and for that matter so does Arum and Manny....).

There's things Arum and Manny want to try and get from Floyd that he's not going to just give up. Parity, maybe negotiate a fight weight of 145-6, a cutt off date from the random testing.

People need to start calming down, there's too much money on the table with a Floyd & Manny fight, and a fourth Marquez fight jeopardizes it. Arum may very well be trying to leverage the fight.

By then who would care? The fight will have no buzz and just be a formality.

Can you say the Biggest Hype Job In Boxing History. That's exactly what Manny Pacquiao is. It goes beyond duck. This guy is a platypus.

Pac knows he did not deserve the win and wants to give it another shot. I can live with that. **** Floyd.

Hey ***** its not about KO Pacquio into retirement. Its about that dirty pig going after a 4th fight with Marquez so he can keep it inhouse and pocket more money. **** that greedy *****! He is the main reason why FM vs Pac hasnt been done.

This is all dependent on Marquez saying "yes" to a fourth fight.

Arum's not that smart. He's just a bitter old man who doesn't want to give PBF the pleasure of beating his cash cow in grand fashion that's really it.

**** Pac. He was billed as this unstopable force but got schooled by a 38 year old man. Pac is clearly ducking PBF who is a stylistic terror for him and he will rightfully be remembered for doing so. I hope you can live with that as well.

If I was Floyd I would have a field day(days?) with the media to expose this duck everywhere and pressure them.
