When in history has a fighter won and want an immediate rematch?

    I mean this isn't Rocky and fukin Apollo in Rocky 2. Since when does a fighter who wins demand a rematch against a guy he's apparently beaten twice?
    :lol:

    I don't get it. Nothing will change. Marq has Pac's number and he should be steering FAR away from Marq. But then again the other direction is Floyd so Pac's stuck between a granite rock and a very hard place

    almost makes it look like marketing. If Pacman really wanted to prove he was better than Marquez after a controversial decision, he would have had a 3rd fight with Marquez in 2008.

    Pac and Marquez should fight for a 4th time.

    Manny or Marquez HAS to get a stoppage

    n the post-fight interview, Mayweather said, "My last training day, I hurt my rotator cuff in my left shoulder, so I couldn’t use my jab the way I want to. My left wasn’t as strong as I wanted it to be, but I didn’t want to have no excuses, you know, like other champions, you know, when they get hurt they won’t even show up to the fight. I get hurt I keep fighting, you know, I want to bring the fans a victory."

    Due to the supposed closeness of their first bout, Mayweather accepted an immediate rematch with Castillo that took place on December 7, 2002. Before the rematch, Mayweather again reiterated that he had tore his left rotator cuff two days before the first fight and couldn't throw a jab or a left hook. He had surgery following the controversial decision over Castillo and he said his shoulder had completely healed now.[69]

    He never did the right thing before in terms of immediate rematches. I wonder why he changed his stance now all of a sudden.

    Mayweathe and Lewis both wanted rematches with Hoya and Tyson respectively after the beat them. However, those were money grabs. Pacquiao has a bigger money fight on the table, yet he wants to bypass it in order to fight a guy for the 4th time that he's already gotten 3 gifts against; this despite the fact that Pacquiao has never been interested in immediate rematches throughout his career. We can all guess why.

    I actually would rather see a 4th Pac v. JMM fight.

    Pac v. FMJ would be big for boxing, but boring IMHO. I've never wanted to see that fight.
