Was the foot stomping of Marquez on Pac's lead foot deliberate?

Actually if you watch this clip carefully--esp at the beginning, here's my take:

JMM looks down to see where Pac's foot is, then covers his face as he lunges in to step on that foot.
    Verdict deliberate.

Not sure how illegal that is to do repeatedly. Not sure if and how much that affected Manny. It appears to have been at least somewhat effective, in the exchanges where it was done.

Was Marquez deliberately stepping on Pac's foot? And will those who really know the rules comment on legality, and everyone can comment on whether these episodes were effective as well as deliberate.

Yes. He cheated. Manny would have won by a devastating first round knockout had JMM not employed these tactics. I don't ever want to see the Mexican in a professional ring again.

I agree with you 100%. Clearly this was the difference between this fight and the first two. Saved JMM from a brutal KO that everyone was expecting.

All the while they were checking that urine drinking bottle, Nacho figured out a better strategy.

Hmmmmm. Al I know is that the foot stomp really ****ed up Pac's movements and made him extremely vulnerable.

All I know is that Manny Pacquiao has a history of making excuses in defeat and yet he didn't once complain about the "foot stomping" during or after the fight. The guy was troubled more by JMM's punches, in my opinion.

Was there foot stomping in the first two fights? If not, maybe it was a tactic by JMM. I don't see how, though. His eyes were fixed on that huge dome of Pac's. How would he know where Manny's foot was?

You're suggesting JMM remained competitive with Manny Pacquiao without having to resort to foul play? You're clearly an idiot. Log off. Watch Golf.
