I can't find a video for the fight, but I'm guessing that picture in round 9 doesn't look as half as bad as the still makes out.

    Interesting, right now:
19 to 5 for deliberate, vs normal ortho v southpaw occurence, with 4 not giving...

Why would it be remotely interesting, Phys?

Those who voted deliberate are seriously deluded or don't know the slightest thing about JMM or Boxing. You really shouldn't lower yourself. These things are hard to come back from. You'll enter a thread discussing the Chavez/Taylor stoppage one day and you'll give some worthy input. Perhaps you'll say, "It wasn't the referee's business to know how long was left. Steele was only concerned with the safety of Meldrick Taylor". Everything is going fine and then all of a sudden, someone shouts, "...You have no credibility anyway, Phys. Don't think I have forgotten. You were one of those suggesting JMM was purposefully stomping on Manny's feet to gain an advantage. Log off forever". The thread erupts with laughter. "Really? He thought that?" "Yeah, lol". Lol's all over the ****in' place.

you sure do protest way too much, as Shakespeare would say.

The Steele thing was one of many examples of corrupt refs, IMO!
It was a travesty. As was the draw of JCC vs Whitaker--JCC a Don King production...

REALLY clever way of neutralising Pacs in/out punching which is his strongest asset. Taking that away is without a doubt cheating but very intelligent.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with JMM trying to duck Pacs right!

Marquez doesn't move his head to avoid Manny's jab, he does it to get a good look at where the Filipino's foot is so he can stompy stomp!

I'll give you a slight hint. It is always the most ignorant and unintelligent who are totally incapable of gauging the intellect of others. They merely wreak in horror at what they cannot grasp and desperately cling to the absurdity that it must mean they are more intelligent than the other party.

It truly is a joke on themselves.

:!: Your credibility is totally shot. Log off. Watch golf. Boxing isn't for you.

It doesn't take an intellectual to figure out exactly why JMM's foot is catching Pacquiao's. It should really be filed under common sense.

He can duck the right without the leg tactic, it just means he is timing the leg stomping.
Another element of his (brilliant) countering style--added the leg stomp.
Still haven't been answered as to how illegal it is.
