Was Marquez deliberately and repeatedly stepping on Pac's foot?

Only an imbecile goes to someone else's thread and parks his carcass and tells the other he must be an idiot, log off, etc etc,

The voting makes things clear; those weith agendas need to get personal and imbecilic.

Watch the first round alone, look how they fight for the outside of the lead foot. Look how Marquez "stomps" his foot in to position. Why was there no uproar or shouts of "cheat" after this? Because it's ****ing orthodox v southpaw. I will watch the rest of this bout later because I am very, very confident their feet collide again, and again.

Yes, that particular poster was obviously interested in having a mature and balanced debate about this. "Chick flicks". Wait. What?

The voting makes thing clear? Bull****. Polls are popularity contests more often than not. What makes things clear is video evidence, and we have images of both Marquez and Pacquiao standing on eachother's feet.

Oh look, round 2. Guess what happens again. I can't believe I have gotten so involved in what is basically common sense in boxing.

I've been a member of ESB for a very long time, but this is by far the most outrageous debate I've ever really found myself getting involved in. Comedy gold.

You're clutching at straws. It's obvious to anyone that Marquez was doing it on purpose and it makes sense, what a great idea to neutralise Pac's in/out movement. It's cheating without a doubt though.

Disgraceful isn't it. The bad thing about it though is, the person who came up with this theory is probably some 12 year old Filipino kid who bashes one out over his Pacquiao shrine...but has successfully dragged a good number of people out of reality, and has them believing this bull****. :patsch

 Indeed. Again, I can't be too angry about all of this. It's keeping me entertained and I haven't stopped laughing for almost an hour.

Watch round 1 and 2 of Marquez-Pacquiao II. I have just posted the videos above.

And PLEASE don't come back with something stupid like, "This is the only reason why Marquez is competitive with Pacquiao. He employs the foot stomp to negate Pacquiao's attack".

Again I asked if anyone counted the # of times, the foot stomping occurred esp as part of a several punch combo from JMM. All of that is what makes it almost certain that it was a deliberate and presumably illegal tactic.

The genius' own video posted above, showed Pac actually stepping back when he accidently landed on JMM's foot.

It is a well known tactic that has been used effectively by certain types of fighters: Hopkins and Willie Pep. e.g. In fact, if Pep had a ref that let him get away with that, you can find where he then graduated to wrapping his leg around the opponent to further **** him up.

The frequency, total #, and subsequent actions are all part of what shows this was a deleberate and presumably somewhat illegal tactic.
