So you believe JMM is a tougher fight than the Mayweather fight?

That he can beat JMM fairly? I honestly don’t know what’s so hard to understand about that. Unlike the other two which brought out good moments in both fighters, that was an embarrassing night for Pacquiao. He was abysmal. If I was him, I wouldn’t be able to sleep properly at night. I’d be chomping at the bite to go back and prove I can beat him properly.

He don't believe that **** for one second. These PAC FANS know damn well that Manny only has a punchers chance and will get dominated by Floyd. Mother****ers need to man up and be real.

What? They have fought 3 times already. So he wants to keep fight Marqeuz until he can get a knockout? Manny himself said he clearly won. They don't want to fight Mayweather and they realize that if they can't handle a 38 yr old Marquez, they damn sure can't handle Floyd.

How do you come to that conclusion? Floyd will be more tricky, faster, smarter, and stronger than Marquez. You don't believe that ****.

It'd be a grudge match for the 5th. I dunno, I can see why they want a 5th, it's at least compelling just not as compelling as a fight with PBF.

The problem is as we all know, the issue of Arum vs PBF rearing its ugly head. I think PBF could save this fight if he could somehow get control of the bad blood between them two. It's a tall order to even imagine...

Sure, but the thing Floyd doesn't do is trade tit for tat like Marquez. He doesn't put out enough offense to keep Pac honest like Marquez.

That’s exactly what it was, Jack. I mean, the fact that he never even bothered to consult Pac/Arum for booking a fight with them, tells us all we need to know. For anyone to think that May 5th is a concrete date for Pac, and him [Pac] not turning up for it, is proof that Mayweather wanted the fight all along whilst Pac didn’t, is laughable.

Who in their right mind, other than a strict company man like Arum, would think Pac-JMM IV would outperform Pac-Mayweather?

Arum booked a venue too and started a time clock but I don't see you all talking about that. The bottom line is that Team Mayweather has reached out and Top Rank wants a rematch with JMM. I thought Manny won? :patsch They never wanted Mayweather and it is clear as day.

So Arum did the same thing Floyd is doing... Yet Floyd wants the fight but Arum didn't.

    Yeah, exactly.

Aside from that, if Mayweather booked the MGM to fight Pacquiao, then why do we know for a fact that Schaefer was looking for an opponent before the Pacquiao/Marquez result? We know Morales was contacted and it's 99% certain other fighters were, so why would anyone take Mayweather's word on this?

I understand keeping options open, but if it was Pacquiao they specifically wanted, they should have got an answer from Arum before asking other fighters.
