    Andy Lee beat Alfrdo Angulo in the Olympics.

    Joel Casamayor beat Wayne Mccullough in the 92 Olympic final.

    Yeah i seen the Andy Lee vs Alferdo Angulo fight its a good match

    I think Angulo would ko him now tho

    I remember seeing somewhere that Joe Calzaghe beat Chris Byrd but i've not actually seen evidence of it though, anyone know more about this ?

    I'm not sure, but he was an amatuer Phenom although at Welterweight. Politics and money is what stopped him going to the Olympics and probably winning a medal.

    It was a good fight they both took standing counts Haye rocked Solis with an uppercut. I'm not really sure why the ref stopped it......

    Solis also beat Sultan Ibragimov twice in the amateurs he also won 2 out of 3 fights against Felix Savon (obviously not a pro but still very impressive )

    Because Solis took a huge points lead that Haye couldn't recover from and was only gaining momentum, if memory serves.

    Khan stopped Ortiz in amatuers

    Khan says if you hit ortiz early on and dont let him hit you it demoralises him and breaks him down. and that was true back in amatuers and still is the same today. lol.

    Cotto was 13. Calderon was 18. It's **** like this that makes when laugh when people starting hypothesizing about what would happen between two pro fighters based the result of some amateur bout that happen when they were kids.
