JMM said he wasnt going to run like Mosely but he ran all night he said he was going to go for a KO but all he did was wait for pac, there was no aggresivenes to try and go for a KO even in the late rounds :verysad:verysad
JMM isn't the only fighter in history to promise one thing, and do something else on the night. It's perfectly normal. And in JMM's case, he didn't need to stick by his word. Stepping on the gas and going for the KO in the late rounds would have been an extremely foolish thing to do. He was doing perfectly fine backing up and countering. Chasing a fight that he was already winning, and risk being hurt in the process, wasn't necessary.
He was exhausted from rd 6 body shots by Pac and could not stop the right hook. Watch Rd 3,6,9 the right hook made him overly cautious. Rd 10 he was tired even when Pac got the cut he could hardly throw a punch. Rd 12 the final rd in a fight he said he knew he couldnt get a decision what happened ? he did nothing was not sturdy on his feet and Pac closed the show w/ a thumping left.

If you saw Beristain's interview after the weigh-in, he said they were going to box Pacquiao. And, what's the point? Mayweather promised a war vs. DLH, Haye promised to "fight" Wlad and...... we are still waiting. Not the first to say something like that and he won't be the last.
He doesnt fight to appease you, he wants to give himself the best chance to win and he executed his strategy perfectly.
