was actually impressed with pac's right hand this time. i saw it connected several times for this fight unlike the 2nd fight where it was completely neutralized by marquez.

its pretty obvious a lot of ppl wanted Pac to lose. some were surprised that pac didnt look superhuman.

truth is Pac won a close fight. He didnt look good... but he won.

styles make fights. Pac couldnt explode with those fast 5 punch combo's and found himself throwing one at a time. JMM would not engage and counter-punched when Pac got aggressive. in the end you have a close fight with few fireworks. It was exactly what JMM wanted. unfortunately for him those close rounds went to the more aggressive champ.

If Marquez landed the harder shots, why is there a lot more swelling around his eyes? Ignoring his red skin (can be a result of shot taken at the right/wrong moment) you can clearly see his eyes are one third closed. Either he is allergic, or Pac actually hit him with plenty :think

You feel a bit too much lika a man on a mission for me to buy it just like that.

But ...

The reality about ESB-members scoring fights is that the action often is too fast for them to fallow with their eyes. If they see one guy controlling the fight in spurts they assume thats what went down throughout. Like when Marquez counters Pac with clean shots every here and there. No mather how self confident they might sound, often they just assume.

At the end of the day, Marquez is busted up. Pac has no such swelling around his eyes. And this cant be written of as bias.
