Pacquiao landed plenty of clean effective punches. For whatever reason, some people choose to completely ignore them.

Here's the result of Pac's "ineffective aggression" on JMM's face after the fight:

I'm just curious which 7 rounds people thought Pacquiao won. That's the minimum necessary without generously giving even rounds out and it seems too high.

Clean effective punching??? Marquez missed just as much if not more so. Yeah some times he would land a good right hand counter. Most of the time he flailed as Pac moved away especially in the critical last 4 rounds.

This is what I see from most of the people saying Pac won and actually give reasons. They say Pac landed more according to compubox, or he was aggressive.. But JMM landed more of the harder cleaner punches, his ring generalship was better than Pac's, and he made Pac miss a lot while making him pay. I don't agree with giving Pac swing rounds just because he punches a lot and presses the action.

Tasco pictures don't mean much. Nobody is saying Pac landed nothing, most are just saying Marquez landed much better punches. Pac is a harder puncher than Marquez, but you don't score boxing matches based on how their faces look. Marquez has some swelling but he's barely affected as well, especially compared to his usual post-fight appearance.

    ****ing exactly.

The way JMM boxed, made Pac miss, compared to Pac blocking punches made me score it for him.

When Pac missed, he missed bad and it was because JMM made him miss. And defense counts.

I would say making someone miss big is better than just blocking a punch with your arm or gloves.

Yes, having it 10-2 (with you giving Pac every close round, while I gave him one) is not serious?

Shut the **** up you bias piece of ****.

Big time. I felt JMM dominated. Not a total dismantle for a complete twelve rounds.

But he was 7 rounds on my card that were dominate clear rounds.

The other 3 were close which I gave to him. The other two close rounds I gave to pac.

well again I disagree. pac landed probably just as many flush straight lefts (if not moreso) then JMM did with his right. As the previous poster mentioned, JMM wasn't landing all of his punches either, and his output was lower.

:thumbsup Really. Come on Tasco, you're a better poster than that. Manny did his fair share, most just believe JMM did it more often/better.

1, 2, 3, 6, 10, 11, 12. Nacho made a huge error telling Marquez put it on cruise in an even fight.

I've noticed that most casual *****s cant see Manny's hand speed. They see and score the slower punches.

Who said I gave Pac every close round? Pac won some rounds clearly , including the 6th. I'm gonna score it officially tonight.

The only one who's biased is you if you have a ridiculous scorecard like that. Or your jsut straight up delusional.

In all seriousness I scored it 116-112 for pac, consistant with both the lederman card and one of the judges, everyone is so thirsty to bring pac down. He had a close call and a rough night but he stole very close rounds at the end. pressed the action to a backpedaling Marquez and outlanded him. Marquez did phenominal for a 38 year old 7-1 underdog and neutralized pac's crazy offense but by no means did he edge the champ he came close thats all. He landed harder shots yes but he did so backing up and landed one good shot for every 3 pac's punches.

That and the underdog factor. People go all ape**** every time JMM has his moments, and ignore everything Pacquaio did. It's the same thing with the last two fights,.
