Schaefer said the notification came in an email from retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein, the mediator who has worked closely with the sides to settle numerous lawsuits and issues in recent years.

"I am sick and tired of Bob Arum twisting the truth. It's another case of 'yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth,' " Schaefer said, invoking Arum's most famous quote. "The truth of the matter is that we received this afternoon an email from retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein, who has informed us that Top Rank is pursuing a rematch with Marquez and, therefore, is not interested in immediate talks for a possible Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. This is obviously as clear as it can be that they have no intentions of making a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. Therefore, Floyd Mayweather will have no other choice than to move on and identify and lock in another opponent for his ring return on May 5." :deal

Ellerbe says they booked MGM on May 5th and were trying to make the biggest fight possible, the little guy. Floyd says soon after he didn't know he was fighting Pac and more than half of ESB jump on him calling him a ducker and liar ducking the fight since Pac's team finally agreed to the testing demands. Pac's team go straight to a rematch without even CONSIDERING negotiations with Mayweather first, and the same ****ers are on here saying they have no issue. Tells you everything you need to know about those 'fans'. Same ****ers who claim Floyd fans aren't real fans.

If Pac loses to JMM or has another very controversial decision it will hurt the Floyd fight even more, as he won't have the excuse of a bad camp or not taking special shakes or running how Ariza wants him to. If he loses to Floyd he can still get the JMM fight, as I don't see any reason JMM would accept it at the beginning of next year and not the end. Makes no sense to do the JMM fight first, and all of you trying to justify it should be ashamed of yourselves.

Pac fans don't want this fight. They talked mad **** and now you have guys like Lance asking "why do you want to see Floyd fight a fighter that you all thought lost?" :patsch

That's just a question I am asking lilttle ***gots like you. That question does NOT mean I do not want the fight between Floyd and pac to happen, since I have already said I do. Got that ******, I have said repeatedly I DO. Doesn't mean I won't ask you girls why the change in heart on fighting guys who look bad or lost.

But the fact of the matter is, you want Floyd to face the EXACT type of fighter you gave Pac **** for. :deal Makes you a hypocrite ****.

So Floyd pretends he didn't know he was supposed to be fighting Pac on Cinqo de Mayo, then when Pac looks crap vs JMM, Gay Leonard is all over the place, first calling Pac et al cowards then saying he thinks Pac will push Arum for the PBF fight because he's an honourable person.

When did the 2 parties actually agree to fight on May 5th?

I must have missed something there, because the Floydettes sure are holding Manny to something - just what that something is, I don't know and neither do they - they're doing the usual 'make a lot of noise to flesh out the spaces between the facts' thing...

Perhaps the Three Feebs can explain how Floyd denying he was fighting Manny on May 5th transforms into Pac vs Floyd being definite for May 5th?
