Roach is a honest guy. You can tell from all the interviews post fight, that deep down he knows Marquez put on a clinic and won that fight.

Its dissapointing to see Roach reaching for multiple excuses for Pacquiao's performance.

Yes he does give Marquez credit, but then an avalanche of excuses ensue to discredit it.

Cramping, maybe I overtrained Pac, underestimaing JMM........the list goes on and on.

......and now that Roach has seen the fight on replay he no longer has Pacquiao winning by a point, he has him up by 3.:patsch:-(

I like Freddie, but this is an excuse or just plain stupidity on his part. Pacquiao has had 2 close fights with Marquez and now they decide to underestimate him?:huh:lol:

He didn't underestimate Marquez, he overrated Pac. It became evident his strategy revolved around the entire basis for Pac improving so much that he could box, counter, and dazzle Marquez with fancy foot-work and angles. This plan fell over right on its face when it became apparent that Pac could not win a fight by trying to out-box a master counter-puncher.

......did that clown need to say he watched the replay and saw Pacquiao winning by 3????

Roach should have stuck to the same **** he's spewed the previous 2 times Marquez has schooled them and said "I think Manny edged him by a point."
....we know he's lyiing regardless, but at least he's less of a clown for saying they won by 3.:nut

There's other videos where he's a lot more honest and he gives hints as to what he really thinks happened.

As Pacquiao's trainer he HAS to play the party line in a relatively close fight like that, but i think he's been as honest as a trainer of the opponent can be.

    Roach seemed genuinely humbled.

    Good interview.
