He is protected like a national treasure. A belt that was practically handed to him w/gift wrap, and he still could beat that champ very convingly. If jmm was robbed zbik was raped. I honestly think manfredo has enough in the tank to strip and expose this fraud.

    I hope 1 of 2 things happens.

    1. He proves he's not a protected bum and wins very convincingly.

    Or....

    2. Manfredo knocks him out. I'm rooting for either one of these.

I hope Manfredo KO's Chavez, but the truth is that Chavez isn't quite as bad as most of us wishes he were.

He would have to knock him out to the win.

Jr and manfredo are both average, I think chavez Jr is actually better than manfredo, unless Peter totally dominates or gets a KO he loses, he will not get a decision in a close fight...manfredo isn't good enough to dominate or KO chavez...

GO Manfredo, I like the kid, hard luck guy. He's past his best though and even at his best I dunno if he had enough to beat Chavez despite Chavez being cannon fodder for the elite middleweights.

They know what they are doing picking Manfredo.. He could win, but he probably won't. If Manfredo wins, that proves Chavez Jr. is as overrated as people think. I do think Chavez Jr. has a lot of determination and will to win. His skill level is not great but he does have some good assets..

i guess your right. manfredo does somewhat have a name. i just think he could be a spoiler for a chavez-alvarez showdown somewhere in the future like salido was for gamboa-lopez.

I thought Manfredo looked nearly shot in his last fight, and then he almost KOed his opponent in the 4th round. Chavez should win, and if his beard is anywhere near his dad's then Manfredo won't have a chance at the KO.

I guess JCC jr by wide UD, but I'll be rooting like hell for a Peter upset.
The way he's protected is sickening, with the WBC changing the rules on the fly just to prevent him from having to fight any of the big names in the division. :-(
