I know, and the really sad thing is that I know that, I know what you are saying, and I do think that Fury would win... but I can't shake the thought that Audley might just catch him and pull it off. The Canadian champ from the weekend only had a handful of knockouts on his record, and he dropped Fury after all. But I agree with you, I know giving him a chance flies in the face of logic... maybe Audley exercises some form of hypnosis or mind control on an unwitting public?

 

Audley's the best-known heavyweight in the country. Fury's the second-best. That's why it will happen.

 

it all depends if fury volume punches if he does he wins.
If not Audley will walk into a left hand and he does have stopping power

 

i can see audrey winning after an epic fight, almost to the death, where both fighters just go toe to toe in a 12 round war. audrey hardly takes a backward step despite taking countless heavy blows from fury. he refuses to be beaten despite being badly cut and downed on 3 occasions. he just keeps coming forward, seemingly oblivious to fury's hard punches and ignoring his cuts, broken nose and fractured jaw. he even suffers a hand injury late on, but goes right through the pain barrier to record a famous victory:bbb

If this fight happens I am definately going to make sure I am there for it. Fury is usually always in fun fights and I ****ing love Audley Harrison.

 

Well I see where you are coming from, but judging by Fury's second round at the weekend, if the first of the two Audlies you describe turns up this could be an interesting fight.

Can't fail to be entertaining, I would have thought, as Fury will force the pace, won't let it become a dull stand off.

 

I wouldn't have a problem with it. It's a logical step for Fury and it does great business.

 

Can't see meaty Mick risking it to be honest.

By that I don't mean Audley winning, more along the lines of him stinking the joint out for about the 30th time.

The only entertaining fight he's ever been in was the Williams rematch, mainly because Danny came in on about a day's notice miles overweight and his chin had gone.

He's just about picked himself up by his bootstraps to stay in business, and has now got a deal with Channel 5 with some promising early figures. If Fury is involved in a few shootouts things will only improve.

They might do well with Audley as a one-off but unless Fury bangs him out in a round people will complain, even more so if we see ten or twelve turgid rounds with one scared rabbit and Fury chasing him around the ring.

 

I would pay to go and watch it and I'd give Harrison a decent chance. also the build up would be hilarious.

Harrison talking about "climbing mountains" and roaring "yes I can" and Fury banging on about being "crazy" and "needing help"...

 

Not sure i'd ever pay to GO to a Fury fight. His fans seem fairly nasty.

I'd watch a Fury fight from the comfort of my living room. Seems to go off in one way or another every time. Even if he's in an arena and not fighting something happens.

Fury's quotes at the pressers will no doubt be comedy gold.
