The first 6 rounds i felt like i was watching a star, a skilled boxing masterclass at times then it went down hill so quickly. Normally i notice a fighter falling apart but it was that quick it left me shocked. Like one extreme to another..

Margo won the 2nd round. Didn't do enough to sufficiently damage Cotto until after the 6th IMO.

I have Cotto by late stoppage. Margarito won't be able to walk through Cotto's sharp punching as well or for as long this time around. He's clearly faded. Clearly.

He did box beautifully, but it took it all out of him. If he’d stood his ground and gone to the body he could have taken the steam out of Margo a bit for later on. It was the movement that cost him, IMO – he just wore his legs out.

Cotto definitely hurt Margarito a few times – when Margo smiles that’s a good indication he felt the shot. I’m pretty sure he belted him with a big left in the fourth and Margo looked a bit dazed. And really, look at the state of Margo’s face at the end. He was all ****ed up.

I truly believe Cotto ruined Margo just as much as Margo ruined Cotto.

Cotto did not ruin Margarito..? He came back after a long lay off, too push Manny Pac and inflict damage on Manny Pac more than any other recent fighter. Cotto is ruined mentally, his head is all over the place, and he's a scared fighter these days.

Cotto ran for his life and was a scared fighter in the latter rounds against Manny Pac..? he cannot cope anymore, when the going gets tough.

    Margarito is winning this fight.

i think wraps or no wraps,it would of gone the same way, whether some of you think it was a 'master class in the 1st 5 rounds',cotto was still getting hit,and clean, they take there toll.
many many many boxer have been outboxed fr the 1st 6 rounds then won the fight,so its nothing new.
i see this fight being margos night, cotto dus not like being on the back foot,or being dictated to in a fight,it sickens him.

oh and oli, your a **** for saying those things, but i guess you know that don't you,****

And of course the beating Margo took from pac will have no ill-effect whatsoever.

Here are some facts (something you struggle with when you're imagining the world around you):

Cotto lost to Margarito and since then has beaten Joshua Clottey, Yuri Formean (to take a portion of the 154lb title) and Ricardo Mayorga, but lost to Pacquaio. He's had his wobbles but is clearly a composed, classy fighter since hooking up with Steward and seems to be continuing this with his new trainer.

Margarito got the **** beaten out of him by Shane Mosley (who Cotto dealt with), looked appalling in his first fight back, then took a life-shortening beating from Pacquaio.

So, both got dominated by Pac, but at least Cotto actually won a couple of rounds. Unlike Margo who got ****ing pummelled and had his face literally broken.

Now, one man has looked faded since their fight and one man has looked like a punching bag. Guess which is which.

Now please, go back on one of your obscenity filled rants to indicate that you know you haven't got a point.

No. Putting hard plaster in your gloves is pathetic. Lying about when everyone knows is pathetic. Laughing at a man having Parkinson's is pathetic.

And by the way you can **** off too
