    The HBO ******ation in this thread is unbelievable. Linares demarco and Kirkland Angulo are not foty candidates. Berto Ortiz was quite boring in the later rounds. Still Concepion Marquez for me

    I remember Rios - Antillion, Kirkland-Angulo and Maidana - Morales as being the most exciting fights I watched.

    Morales - Maidana had me on my feet cheering for Erik.

    For me Jorge Arce vs Wilfredo Vasquez Jr, Berto vs Ortiz, Conception vs Marquez or Wolak Rodriguez are the big contenders for FOTY & Arce is fighter of the year. If Arce doesn't win one of the big awards it will be a travesty.

    I am an extremely hardcore fan, But nobody gets up at 4AM Just to see some Japanese guys you don't know. Maybe Koki Kameda level guys.

    I think that Ortiz Berto will win FOTY. It was brilliant - really swung both ways, both hit the canvas etc..
