Just settled down with a bottle of Teachers and some Flyweight fights for me to watch.

First up Chan Hee Park vs Guty Espadas.

Espadas starts really promising, stalking intently with a nice defence of parry's and blocks looking to step into range with some hard mid-range counters, and he does just that with a left hook inside a speedy Park jab that drops the Oriental, whose up straight away.

Park responds well with nice jabs and combinations, where Park's stance looks bad in that hes hunched over his jab (giving up his height advantage) it really benefits his over hand right and left hooks. He starts snapping out speedy jabs with not much on them, hoping for Espadas to step to him then land some counter over hand rights and left hooks. This has sucess as he drops Espadas twice then finishes him off in the second.

Next up, Charlie Magri vs Alfonso Lopez.

I love watching both these guys, for differing reasons. Magri is a fun boxer-puncher with a solid skillset and a devastating offence (for a Flyweight no less) and is always slightly hittable. Lopez on the other hand is mister smooth, hes so lovely to watch in that Panamaniam sort of samba.

Lopez is slightly past it, his feet look heavier and it really damages his footwork, and his reflexes are slightly off. So he sort of resorts to flashes of brilliance, with some lovely right hands followed by a quick slip and pivot away from Magri's right hand, but he just can't sustain it.

Magri on the other hand is looking razor sharp, as he keeps that left jab pumping waiting for the right moments to step in with combinations, which he does extremly well. Early on he picks his spots brilliantly, but as the fight goes on Lopez becomes more aggressive and has more sucess but Magri grits it out late with some hard combo's.

Really nice fight to watch IMO

Alberto Davila vs Chul Swan Seul

What a delight Davila is to watch. I mean probably my favrouite Bantamweight to watch, imagine him vs Rose?

Well this is Davila on the prowl for a title shot as Pintor is moving to SBW and leads to his ill-fated fight with Bejines.

Davila is just quality in this fight his slips and bobs are amazing at long-range as he then steps in with his jabs and lets loose with sharp combinations at mid-range then slides off at an angle.

His left hook is just superb throughout as he doubles it up, body and head, I just love Davila. I mean it. A left hook early in the second stuns the Korean matey, and another one late ron drops him. H gets up but some pin point combos by Davila late in the round drops him again and finishes him.

Its not actually that nice of whiskey IMO, just cheap and more interesting than Grouse.

Much prefer a McCallums, or anything smoother, but Im skint.

Good for warming you up and getting hammered.

Anyway, that was the best thing ofd my post?

Yeah, I assumed you liked it otherwise your first thought when you're cold and need to relax wouldn't be, "**** brah, I need me some whiskey". :tired
